Emirates, in collaboration with the Museum of the Future, today announced the lineup and topics for Aviation Future Week, set for October 15-17 in Dubai.

Participants can look forward to an agenda that promises to deliver insightful discussions, informative panel sessions and interactive workshops, delving deep into topics that are top of mind for the future of our industry.”
His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Future Foundation, said: “Aviation Future Week serves as a pivotal platform to highlight the latest advancements and opportunities within the aviation sector.

Moreover, this event aims to support the integration of advanced technologies in enhancing service efficiency and craft growth strategies for the aviation sector in both the short and the long term.”
Day 1
The event will commence by examining the passenger experience and the operational hurdles against the current high global demand. Leading the inaugural session are prominent figures such as His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and His Excellency Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, along with Abdel Wahab Teffaha, Secretary General of the Arab Air Carriers Organization, who will discuss strategies for managing traffic flow and enhancing passenger services.
A panel featuring leaders like Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai; Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia; and Wouter Van Wersch, EVP of Airbus International, will discuss air traffic capacity in the context of crowded airports and limited supply chains.
Werner Vogels, Amazon’s CTO, will engage in a discussion about the use of automation, biometrics, and real-time data in refining passenger experiences.
Key airport executives, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and representatives from airports in Riyadh, Istanbul, and Paris, will debate the modernization of airport infrastructures and emerging technologies aimed at streamlining ground services.
Executives from Recaro, Thales, Panasonic Avionics, and Viasat will discuss advancements in aircraft cabin environments and connectivity.
Day 2
Discussions will shift towards air cargo and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) practices in the region. His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul will start the day with insights into Dubai Future Foundation’s initiatives in aviation and logistics. This will be followed by a deep dive into freight and logistics dynamics, with contributions from Nadeem Sultan of Emirates and industry veterans from Emirates SkyCargo and Solitaire Group.
Panelists from Rolls Royce, GE Aerospace, and other MRO leaders will outline the integration of cutting-edge technologies in regional MRO activities.
Day 3
The final day will focus on the integration of Web3, AI, and Extended Reality (XR) in enhancing operational efficiency and service quality within the aviation sector.
The initial discussion will center on automating customer feedback processes and leveraging data to elevate service standards, with insights from leaders at Avis Budget Group, Emirates Skywards, and others.
The concluding panel will feature experts from Manchester Metropolitan University and corporate leaders from Microsoft Solutions and Emirates, discussing the transformative potential of XR and AI in aviation workflows.
